A tour of Krabi and Phang Nga Bay onboard Asia’s first Sunseeker Manhattan 63.

Whilst once again holidaying in Phuket, Iris Stamp from Sunderland, in England, was in for a nice birthday surprise when she was treated by her sons; Paul and Gary to a tour around the islands of Krabi and Phang Nga, on Asia’s first Sunseeker Manhattan 63 Flybridge Motor Yacht.

The owner, Stephen Hopcroft, invited Paul, Sales Executive at Sunseeker Thailand, and his family to take his new Sunseeker Manhattan 63 for an extended sea-trial following delivery from the UK earlier this year.

“Having completed the sale of this new model ‘off-plan,’ it’s been great actually seeing the boat and taking her for a spin” said Paul. “Having many of my family members here in Phuket to enjoy the day out with me too was just fantastic!”

“The boat which is fitted with twin MTU 1220hp engines absolutely ripped around the bay at speeds of up to 34 knots and handled beautifully too. “

Stephen Hopcroft added, “the handling at speed is awesome, and I’m looking forward to going further afield soon, maybe taking in a 3 day trip to the Similan Islands.”

This Sunseeker Manhattan 63, which is actually 69 feet long, is the second of six Manhattan Flybridge Motor Yachts arriving in Thailand in 2011, with another 63 and three 73’s on order.

Iris, having been treated to Champagne and cocktails throughout the day said, “I feel so special to be treated to such an Exclusive Yacht Charter-The Yacht is sensational!”
